Eligibility Criteria For RTE TN Admission 2026
- The first aspirant must be in a permanent domicile in Tamil Nadu state.
- Another selection will be provided to disabled children, HIV-infected, and wards of scavengers.
- The yearly income of the family must not be greater than Rs 2 lakh.
- For admission in Standard LKG, the DOB of the kid must be between 31st July 2017 and 31st July 2018.
- All the kids of parents who belong to the EWS category (economically weaker section category), disadvantaged group special category, and disadvantaged group category can apply under this government scheme.
- For admission in standard 1st, the date of birth of the child must be between the dates 31st July 2015 to 31st July 2016.
- Or Aspirants from MBC, ST, SC-others, BC-others, SC-arunthathiyar, OC, DNC (Denotified communities), or a social category not conceded are eligible to apply.
