Benefits of PMVBRY Scheme
For Employees (Youth) – First-time jobholders with a salary up to ₹1 lakh are eligible. Candidates get ₹15,000 incentive provided in two instalments, like the 1st instalment after completing 6 months of service and the 2nd instalment after 12 months and successful completion of a financial literacy course. Direct transfer through DBT ensures transparency.
For Employers – Employers receive ₹3,000 per month per new employee for two years. Incentive encourages job creation across the manufacturing and service sectors. Credited directly into PAN-linked bank accounts.
Eligibility Criteria
For Employees
- Must secure first-time job between 1st July 2025 – 31st July 2027.
- Age group: 18–40 years.
- Salary must not exceed ₹1 lakh per month.
- Must possess an Aadhaar-linked bank account.
- Completion of UAN (Universal Account Number) generation is required.
For Employers
- Should be a registered entity under EPFO/ESIC.
- Must comply with labour laws and statutory guidelines.
- PAN-linked bank account mandatory.
- Should not claim benefits for the same employee under multiple schemes.
How to Register for PMVBRY Portal OTR Process
Both employees and employers must register only once on the portal. Here’s the step-wise process:
Step 1: Visit the Official Website Go to pmvbry.epfindia.gov.in or pmvbry.labour.gov.in.
Step 2: Select Beneficiary Type. Choose Employee Registration if you are a first-time jobholder. Choose Employer Registration if you are a company/organization.
Step 3: Login / Create Account – Employees: Enter Aadhaar, UAN (or generate via FAT – Face Authentication Technology), and mobile number. Employers: Login using EPFO/ESIC credentials.
Step 4: Upload Documents – Submit scanned copies of:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Bank Passbook / Account details
- Appointment Letter (for employees)
- Company Registration Certificate (for employers)
Step 5: Submit Application and Review all details carefully. Submit the registration form and save the acknowledgment number for tracking.
How to Claim Benefits under PMVBRY OTR
For Employees (₹15,000 Incentive) – After 6 months of continuous service, 1st instalment is released. After 12 months + financial literacy course 2nd instalment is released. Credited via DBT to the linked bank account.
For Employers (₹3,000 Incentive) – Credited monthly for every eligible new hire. Valid for 24 months from the date of registration.
PMVBRY Rules & Regulations
Incentives apply only to first-time employees during the notified period. Duplicate registrations will not be accepted. Employers must ensure timely EPF/ESI compliance.
Benefits cannot be clubbed with other central/state employment-linked incentives. All payments are made through DBT linked with Aadhaar/PAN. The government reserves the right to audit and cancel fraudulent claims.
