Odisha Madhu Babu Pension Scheme – The yojana is a combination of two pension schemes named the Revised Old Age Pension which was launched in year 1989 and the Disability Pension which was launched in year 1985.

Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024-25

The yojana aims to that approximately 1.5 Lakh citizens of the state benefit from the yojana. The yojana is an initiative towards the citizens falling under the category of old age groups, PWD, or widows can live an independent, stable and respectful life for themselves.
Also, the government aims to provide Around 5,000 transgenders a pension grant Rs. 500, Rs. 700 and Rs. 900 per month as a pension under various categories depending on their age.

- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
- The applicant must not be an ex-government employee.

Old age people
- The age of the applicant should be 60 years and above.
Odisha Widow Pension Scheme
- The age of the widow must be above 18 years.
Disabled Person
- A person of any age can apply for the scheme with more than 40% disability.
Also, the applications of the following case candidates will not be considered. In case the applicant is receiving any other pension from some other government scheme. Also, if the applicant or any family member is a government sector employee then the applications will be discarded.

- On the home page search for the online application section and select the pension application option.
- Then you will be directed to a new page where you will find the detailed notification of the yojana and the application form now all the required details in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
- The following documents are required the interested citizens apply for the yojana – Aadhaar Card, Address Proof, Income Certificate, Death Certificate of the husband in case of a widow applicants, Disability Certificate in the case of persons with disabilities 40%, Bank Account Passbook and details, Passport size Photograph, Aadhar registered Mobile Number.
- Click the Submit option. Then your application number will displayed on your screen keep it safe for future reference. Also, the login credentials will sent to the applicants’ registered mobile numbers.

The beneficiary will get the pension amount on the 15th of every month in cash.
Disbursement of pension will be made by the BDO or any officer subordinate to BDO (in a rural area) in Gram Panchayat office and by DSSO or any officer subordinate to DSSO at the municipal office in the urban area.
