Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scheme, the female applicant must meet the following conditions:
- Permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakh.
- The applicant should own less than 5 acres of irrigated land or less than 10 acres of unirrigated land.
- Annual household electricity usage should be below 3600 units.
- Applicant must be the head of the family as per the ration/family card. If the male is the head, his wife or another eligible female member (21+ years) can apply.
