Haryana Chirag Yojana Selection Process
The selection process involves the following steps –
- Application Submission: Students must submit their applications between March 15-31, 2025.
- Lottery System: If there are more applicants than available seats, a lottery draw will be conducted between April 1-5, 2025 to select students fairly.
- Admission Confirmation: Selected students must complete the admission process between April 1-15, 2025.
- Filling Vacant Seats: If any seats remain unfilled, a second list will be released, and the admission process will continue until April 30, 2025.

- Residence Certificate (Haryana Domicile Proof)
- Income Certificate (Family income must be ₹1.8 lakh or less per annum)

Haryana Chirag Admission Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Haryana Chirag Yojana, students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident of Haryana (Proof required).
- Family’s annual income must be ₹1,80,000 or less.
- The student must have previously studied in a government school.
- Admission will be given to private schools in the same block where the student resides.
- Priority will be given to students from economically weaker backgrounds.
